“we don’t develop the community; we develop the people in the community”
Welcome and thank you for visiting our website. Recovery First Community Development Center (RFCDC), is a community based 501c3 non-profit organization. Our services are designed to help the community with small items that are sometimes overlooked.
Each day a life is changed because of grief, divorce, drugs and poor health. At the same time a life is restored (recovered), because of programs and support from others and their community. Our outreach programs are designed to fit the needs of the community and individuals during their stages of recovery and daily transitions.
Our special programs promote educational rewards for our children through the Theresa Davis Educational Program, acknowledging their accomplishments each year with our annual luncheon and awards ceremony.
We are committed to take a stand against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, with our yearly “Hiding Behind the Make-Up” conference to educate and our wellness retreat to help the healing process. We take a stand to help put an end to this devastating and life crippling issue.
Become a sponsor of any of the programs and services listed to help us “develop the people”.

Cleo R. Davis Jr. had an almost overwhelming feeling that he was destined to help build his community from within. After seeing many people falling through the cracks he decided it was time to establish programs to fill the cracks that would allow people to better themselves.
